When buying a home I feel that you should have an independent inspection conducted by a licensed inspector.  This inspection is a cost to you as a buyer and traditionally takes place after we have had your offer accepted.  Generally, we write an offer on a property making the inspection one of the conditions of purchase.  There are a number of excellent inspectors in the Puget Sound area.  These names, once again, are merely to help you get started:
